Stations of the Cross: Wednesdays 10:30am and 7:00pm in the Little Brick Church
The Church has encouraged this devotion as a way to become closer to God. The Stations will help you to recommit your heart to God and serving the needs of the poor.
Come and join us as we recall Jesus’ suffering and reflect upon our own lives. Each week the Stations of the Cross are prayed with a different theme. Click here to learn more.
March 10th Stations of the Cross: 7:00pm, Main Church. "The Song of My Life, The Christ Remembers"
The Song of My Life, The Christ Remembers is a prayer that incorporates Jesus reflecting on 14 events in his life. There is a lead prayer with a congregational spoken response. A short reflective reading follows and an appropriate musical selection follows that. The music is selected with the intent of promoting congregational participation as well as a few solo singers being featured.
The purpose of The Song of my Life, The Christ Remembers, is to bring people together to reflect, praise and pray in remembrance of Jesus.
Musical selections will come from Godspell, Jesus Christ Super Star, and various hymnals.

Lenten Journey Small Group Reflection Series: Tuesdays, Feb. 23, March 2, 16, 30, 6:30pm-7:30pm (Zoom or In Person Options)
Often in our spiritual lives we think we’re asking for too much, but in reality we are asking for too little. God wants to give us more, but we aren’t asking for it. He wants to help us overcome our weaknesses, help us stop falling into the same old patterns — he wants to give us freedom. This Lent, ask God to give it to you so you can arrive at Easter more healed, fulfilled, and transformed than ever before.
Each participant will receive a Lenten Companion journal, filled with beautiful art and meaningful meditations to accompany him or her throughout the entire Lent season. Contact Carol Daun to register by February 14. Please indicate if you would like in person or Zoom option when registering.
The daily reflections and journaling, along with Small Group Faith Sharing on Tuesday evenings, will give you an opportunity to enter into the season of Lent intentionally and arrive at Easter transformed through our journey with Jesus to the cross.
St. Mary by the Lake Events
Holy Hour with Evening Vespers: Thursdays 9:00am-6:30pm, in church, beginning February 18th
Holy hours are the Roman Catholic devotional tradition of spending an hour in Eucharistic Adoration in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
Stations of the Cross at St. Mary by the Lake Sunday Mornings 9:30am February 21 - March 28
Experience the way of the cross as you never have before. Rather than meditating about Christ’s journey to the cross, pray right along with him.
Jesus, as an observant Jewish man, would have prayed the Psalms throughout the day, and drawn strength and peace from them.
The Way of the Cross: Praying the Psalms with Jesus invites us to step closer to Christ and pray beside him, drawing strength from Scripture during those last moments before the crucifixion.
Each station features:
- A short reading from Scripture
- A brief meditation
- A Psalm to pray with Jesus
